The job market for journalism is all online or getting close to non exsistent at this point.
Have you considered editing? I know a couple of the professors at Marywood did text editing on the side and made alright money at it. It might be worth looking into. To be completely honest I'm not sure where you would go to look into that kind of thing but if you want to toss something on your resume remind me when I start posting about AnimeNEXT guide stuff to shoot you copies of stuff for proofing. Tossing in the "non profit organization" bit usually looks good on a resume.
