pre-con stress

Blaaaaah. Sudden costume depression has suddenly hit me. I think it's most likely from spending most of tonight battling with velcro and glue. And getting really scared that certain parts aren't coming out the way they should be. So yeah, it was previously going good but now it's all stressful 'cause I'm in one of those "this just doesn't look right..." "this isn't good enough..." "this looks like crap" states of mine. And I also hate the sensation of dried super glue on my fingers. Hate it. x_x

Anyways, here's my costume schedule in case anyone actually wants to know. I'm not completely positive on it myself though.

Thursday - Kamijo briefly in the night for Star
Friday - Noin for Tanemura gathering in morning, Daishi rest of the day
Saturday - Rosiel briefly in morning for AS group, Roy in the afternoon, L in the evening
Sunday - Misericorde Cain

And well, for Rosiel I'm suddenly remembering that I'm going to need someone to do my make-up and currently have no idea who I should grab for that. So yes, any volunteers? Please? ;_; Same with L actually though L's make-up is a lot easier. I think Becky offered to help with that at least.

Bah, I'm so incredibly unorganized this time around. And unprepared and usually I'm prepared and ready this close to a con. I really don't like this last minute stuff. I don't know how so many of you guys are able to handle this every con. ^^;

It's ok, I think I'll be fine. I still got Dani and Emma around so they usually end up doing it. ^^; Just got a little worried there 'cause I'm not rooming with either of them this time around.

^_^ I'm sure everything will come out looking awesome! At least you seem to be finishing up things....I'm just starting my last (and hardest) costume! Blargh! Can't wait to see your costumes.

I'd offer to help with make-up, but seeing as I can barely apply make-up to myself...yeah. ^^;;

Wow, that's gotta be stressful. o_o I just wish I had more time. I might still have a few things to do in the hotel Thurs night at this rate. But I guess that's pretty normal. lol I probably should wait to gel up the one wig then anyways so it doesn't get mangled in the car. Bah, the issue is just all this glue not working the way it should. x_x And so I keep having to reglue stuff and get it all of my fingers. Ickick!

awwww!!! im sure everything looks awesome anyway.... i can understand the stress tho too... i STILL have shit to finish X____X
and i can also help with makeup... i end up doing a lot of it too, im kinda like the c-crew's resident makeup and painter person ^^;
ill be doing my dragon as well, but its gotten to the point where i can practically do it in my sleep X__X

and as for handling the last min stuff? i donno... some people work well under pressure? i know i do actually. i need to ahve deadlines.. and ones that are riding my ass in order for me to get ANYTHING done. its a terrible habit T__T

K, I trust ya with the make-up as you know the characters good enough to figure it out. Man, I feel bad about having to rely on people all the time for this but I have tried to figure it out on my own and I've gotten nowhere. ^^; It's pretty sad when I try. But yeah, I just need like veins and stuff, the usual Rosiel-goodness. As it is I need to meet with you c-crew peeps early on that day 'cause Stef said I could have some of her sports tape since I'm almost out of mine.

I don't seem to do very good under the pressure apparantly. ^^; As I have a tendency to mess up more frequently. And my brain just kinda shuts down. Right now it's just these itty bitty parts that are actually really important and I'm having the hardest time trying to figure them out. x_x
