Death Note's ending

Ah, I finally got around to finish reading Death Note.

The ending was fitting. Hee. Though...

It feel kinda empty to me. I was all "Ha!" when Ryuuk killed Light. Though beforehand I found myself feeling disapointed that he lost. But when he died I was like "Whee, L won in the end after all...even though he's...dead." x_x And so I think it just didn't feel as good as it would've been if L was still around. Ah well.

I like Near a lot too. But he just isn't L. Haven't been as interested in the manga ever since L got killed off. XP He was just such a great character.

So hm, was that Misa at the very end or just a random girl? Hope it was Misa 'cause otherwise there was no explanation as to what happened to her afterwards. Hee, kinda creepy but cool. ^^

So, overall, it was ok. Got a little bland at parts for me but it got all intense again at the end.

I haven't read it yet but I know how it ends. Someone made a parody of when Light dies, it was so funny since he was teaching them how to swim...

People have been wondering that as well, I wonder as well, it could be and it would make sense considering she pretty much worshipped Kira and he has a cult now? I really need to finish it.

Hee. I would've liked to have seen what the realm of the dead was like as well. And I think it would've been funny if L's spirit ends up following Light around and won't leave him alone. XP

Well, I just think it odd for them to not show her at all so that's the only assumption I can make about her since it did look like her kinda. Hard to tell.
