Con report time once again! Like I said before, the con was awesome and was drama-free and stress-free. ^^ My only complaint is that it seemed to go by way too fast. ;_;
Friday:
Drove to the con with Angie, which was much fun. Chatted away most of the drive and I battled with her CD player to try to get Nightwish to play. It got all messed up on Ghost Love Score though. ;_; It lucked out that Angie was staying at the same hotel as me so didn't have to worry about trying to find it. Dude, our hotel room was insanely awesome! Two floors, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a fireplace, 2 beds, a pull-out bed, closets, 2 TVs, and lots of space. *_* I didn't really want to leave it. Especially since I was with some of the coolest people on the planet. And I had lots of fun tormenting Liam, Zach, and Matt with Dietrich. XP Randy came up with this great theory..."They sacrifice 3 orphans to make a dollfie. 4 orphans for the little ones because it takes an extra orphan to make it small." XPXP
After about an hour or so of lazying around the room, we all finally got into our various costumes. I got in Chrno and went to the pre-reg line, which was really oddly long. o_o Never had to stand in a line for pre-reg before at AUSA. It was really odd and took quite a long time. Just shows how much bigger the con has gotten. Spotted Tina in the line before me and she wasn't dressed yet so I didn't feel so bad about getting into Chrno so late after all. After the line, wandered around with Jes for a while til I ran into a Rosette (who's name is Emily or Em for short, I believe). I was so happy to finally have other Crusade people. She was waiting for Tina and Sarah who were changing into their own Chrno costumes. Took them forever though. XP But once they were done, we had one Rosette and 3 Chrnos so Rosette was pimping for the rest of the day.
We sat outside the Dealer's Room, which then became our spot for the whole con. We kept finding ourselves back at this little corner. ^^;; I was avoiding going into the Dealer's Room quite yet as I didn't want to spend much. Had planned only to buy small things. That is until one of our friends (I forgot who...was it Em/Rosette?) came out with a Cloud plushie and Tina and I just sat there gasping for a bit before we ran into the Dealer's Room to buy our own. ^^;; Apparantly Tina shares my love of Cloud. So does Jackie (asian Jackie, aka Asta) who was working in the Dealer's Room at the time so we didn't get to talk to her too much. The guy selling the plushies was awesome though. He was making the Cloud plushie dance for us. Great way to advertise. So yes, I now happily own him. ^^ Later Jackie got off work for a bit and came to join us. And so did Lionel. Jackie had her doll Kaist with her and so Lionel kept playing with him. XP

Unfortunantly I deleted the longer one by accident in which he made Kaist talk ganster-talk and ended with his wig falling off. ^^;
Goofed around a bit more with the Crusade group until Stef and Ana arrived and then I changed into Ruthberg with the help of Dani. Dietrich wore Sandwich again and got more attention than me. XP When Dani I got back into the con center, I saw Rosiel in her awesome Lady Oscar costume so I went to take a picture and afterwards she said I looked familiar and when I gave her my name, she remembered me. I'm so happy she remembers me. ^^ I admire her sooo much. And she complimented me on my outfit and on Dietrich's outfit. ;_; Then Dani and I went up to Stef and Ana's room as they finished getting ready. Got to look at Ezekiel and Kaelin. Oh man, Ducans really are insanely gorgeous but I'm still not sure if I want one or not, mostly because I'm really a fan of the smaller size still. Then we went to the bar/restuarant with the other Jackie (Eliony) and Liam joined us along with ChibiDan along with Anna and well, we kept adding people throughout the night. XP I didn't eat anything, just had water. Ana and Stef brought their dolls with them so we did a few comparison shots.
All my Ruth nails on my right hand got ripped off when I tried to catch the dolls during a fall. It was quite painful. But at least I was able to hold things the rest of the night. ^^;; After the bar, we headed downstairs to the artist alley. There was this really cool guy there who did very sexy drawings of anyone as however they wanted to see themselves. He had quite the collection of very sexual exotic pictures too. Was pretty neat though I wasn't interested in doing it at all. Ana, Stef, and Jackie (Eliony) decided to do it. And I think Anna too. At least I know she took on his "you have to wear something skimpier every time I see you" challenge. ^^; After talking with him for a bit, he left and we just took over his table space for our dolls. Jackie (asian) came and joined us with both Kaist and Telelasca.
Eventually Dani, Anna, and I headed back to the hotel room to hang out there the rest of the night. Some peeps were already sleeping. I was smart this time and brought soup stuff to eat so I ate one of those and chatted with everyone until we got tired. Anna and I shared the air mattress but it was really cold in the room so we didn't sleep very well. Darlene was up most of the night working on Seth and got up insanely early to continue her work. Crazy-ness.
Saturday:
Woke up early so I could enter the hall cosplay and go to Darlene's panel. Darlene sadly didn't make it out to hall cosplay though I'm sure she would've won for sure if she had. But I know she'll get a chance to enter at another con. He Seth is just absolutely amazing. My Empire Abel paled in comparison next to her. Darlene was also late for her panel so Katie and Christina started it. It was a really good panel. On Elitism in Cosplay. I sat with Jackie (Eli) and John (MaesterSeymour) and Courtney happened to be there too sitting in front of me. XP Jezeroth and Marty Gear came to the panel as well, which was pretty nifty. They had a lot of really helpful comments. Overall I liked it and Katie, Christina, and Darlene did a great job at running it.
After that, worked our way to the lobby and the rest of the TB gang started to show up so there was much TB love in the lobby. I didn't really get any great pics of my costume on my camera so here's a mediocre one.
At the time I wasn't too concerned getting pictures of it 'cause Al got a bunch of pictures but of course, now his photos are gone. ;_; Ah well, will get pictures later then. We stood around posing for a while since the TB photoshoot was around 12:30 though it really was just us. And we did a photo thingy with Fansview that I'm still not sure exactly what it was but it sounded cool. lol For all I know I could've been signing my soul away. ^^;; Went to the Dealer's Room and I bought a Nana t-shirt that I had seen before on a classmate and really wanted so happy I managed to get it. Saw a lot of things I liked but told myself no 'cause even though I'm not broke, I want to save my money at the moment. The hotel people decided to have a food buffet in the lobby so that was very handy. Didn't have to leave for food. So we bought chicken tenders and ate around the poolside. Though we got out there when all the Narutards were there so I was a bit worried one might bump me into the pool since I was bit periously close to the edge for a moment. Would've been interesting to see Abel go swimming but not all that fun. ^^; So then we ate though none of us could finish the food we had.

After that went into the artist alley to revisit the guy from the night before. And stuff. Eventually made our way up to Stef and Ana's room and relaxed for a bit. Ginny wandered in to update Dani on the skit stuff for the skit they were doing and there was random humping as Dani showed us how insanely flexible she is.
Eh..best not to ask. XP
Then Dani had to run to do the skit stuff and I decided to go wander 'cause I wanted to see if I could get into the Masquerade line but for once, they actually started on time so the room had already filled up so instead I found Tina and crew and just hung with them in the lobby and waited for the Masquerade to end so I could at least go in and hear the winners. It was weird how early it was. I know it was because of the concert, but still weird. So kinda threw me off time-wise. So in the mean time Tina and I sat and were silly. She had brought her Ion costume for me so that made me happy. Al joined us for a bit to hang out as well though he was never around for long 'cause he'd see another cosplayer and off he'd be taking pictures.

Finally the doors to main events opened and we ran in though it took them forever to get the awards announced so there was a lot of boring stalling. During that though I finally managed to see Gabi, who was working on staff all weekend as tech service. She was in the balcony with our friend Adam waving down at me. XP After that was over, we ran out the back before the mass exit so not to get caught in the crowd. I went back to my room 'cause I wanted to relax for a little and get out of costume. Talked to Magenta on the phone while in the room. Then Dani and Anna came in and were getting into smexy clothes and I was all sad 'cause I had nothing but costumes on me so no smexy clothes. So Dani let me borrow a pair of her vinyl pants. W00t! XP So I got into Dani's pants that night. Oh yeah. Wore my new Nana shirt and carried Dietrich around. Didn't get very far before I found other doll people too. There was a few of them I ran into and they were nice though they also had YoSDs and those kinda creep me out. They look way too young and young children creep me out. One was ok as it was dressed as Itachi but the other was a creepy kid who kept wanting to shake Dietrich's hand and kept waving to him. Dietrich was...not amused. And then one of their MSDs got all jealous of Die being shirtless so he decided to be shirtless too but I think Die still won in the sexyness. XP
After that, ran into Ling and her group a few times which was fun then found Tina's group again and sat with them in our usual spot once more as the concert went on. Went to the Takarazuka panel which was sadly at the same time as the BJD one so I only stayed for part of it. Felt kinda bad though as there was like only 4 people at that panel and 1 was just someone's bf who got dragged along. And I think they were planning to leave early too. And well, it was a nice panel and the lady definitly knew more and I was tempted to stick around just to find out more info and see if I could find any connections with getting myself copies of stuff but the room also had this annoying elevator music going on that was getting to me. And she was also just telling me things I already knew. Though I didn't know that Book Off in NYC sometimes gets performances in so don't be surprised if I ask you people who live closer to look for stuff for me next time you go there. XP Then I went to the BJD panel but nobody that said they were going to go was there so I didn't know anyone there. But they all seemed really nice and got a lot of girls who thought Dietrich was really pretty. The panel was a nice one. There wasn't any elitists there at least though it was kinda annoying how one girl near the front kept talking as if it was her panel and not the panelist's. ^^; Then Gabi showed up out of nowhere at it. XP Not sure if she went for the panel itself or just because she knew she'd find me there since she needed me for something anyways. Though I know she's gone to one in the past before. Its good at least that she finds them interesting and not scary.
I found everyone in the bar once again so chatted with them for a little but then decided to go back to my corner group and wait for the D.Gray-Man group to get ready. Caught a picture of them before their photoshoot and then spent the rest of the night wandering to see who I could find. Lost Stef, Ana, and Dani. So just chatted with Ling and crew til I decided to go back to the hotel. Talked to Magenta some more on the phone and then eventually got tired and decided to crash.
Sunday:
Woke up a lot better rested than the previous night. Dani and I both were reluctant to really get into cosplay but then heard from Stef and Ana that they were still doing AnimaMundi so we decided to get into them after all. Though Dani decided to be lazy with her tattoo and I didn't put my nails on.

We carried around our dolls in AM for a while. Wandered back into the artist's alley but then Stef didn't feel good so she went to change out. So then just spent a lot of time in the lobby hanging out. There was a girl with a really cute kitten that we all surrounded. As well as a puppy from someone else. Goddamn it was a freaking cute corner. >>;; Then everyone started to leave so I said goodbyes to them and decided to get out of Ruthberg. Found Angie and changed in her car 'cause I didn't feel like walking back to the bathroom. So I was just creative on how to go about doing it without random strangers on the side of the road seeing my underwear. ^^;; Angie and Mel went to some martial arts demonstration thing and I was going to join them but then outside the room was Ling and company so I decided to spend my last few hour or so with them. Ling was in Georik which was sad 'cause I had just gotten out of Ruthberg and all. Ah well. Talked to them about Dietrich and such since I had him with me, of course. Then they had to go and I had to go as well so it was farewell to AnimeUSA. Didn't want to leave but had work to do, sadly. On the way back to campus, I tried to sleep in the car but wasn't really able to. So I was really tired by the time I got back.
