So Dream of Doll released simply the most gorgeous doll like....ever. I know most of you doll people know by now. I actually found out like a few seconds after he was put up but was spazzing too much to be able to talk about it coherently.

But of course he's limited to 2 sets only and they will only be available at this event in Hong Kong happening this weekend.

The ironic part is that I've been trying for a regular Elf Ducan and I thought he was rare and expensive as is. XP Dear God! Its probably a good thing this one isn't possible at least. Hell, I never like tanned dolls but I love him!

I find it very amusing how a lot of people who dont' even like dolls are like "wow" when it comes to the Elf Ducan dolls. Heehee. XP

Seriously. I've never been fond of tan dolls, either, but. That Ducan is AMAZING.

But I agree with you. xD It's probably good that it isn't even possible to obtain him. :P Even if it's also a bit disheartening and sad. xD

i've always wanted a black Camine despite the many problems with tan dolls.

however, i don't see why everyone is so attracted to Ducan. his eyes just seem like they're constantly narrow to me, so he always has a sullen expression.

Yeah, sadly its so hard to get any of the black DOTs. Wish they could find a way to make their tanned dolls without so many problems so they would be easier. Though I've never been a big fan of the tanned ones.

I like that look though. I really like narrowed eyes on dolls. Tis why I go after the Tenders on Dream of Doll and the Dreamings on Ceberus Project. And he actually does have a pretty wide range of expressions, which is often hard to believe til you see Ducan in person as I've seen quite the mix of expressions already on mine.

And yeah, go me for forgetting to reply to these comments til now. ^^;

a lot of people really like them-- i've seen a lot of Ducans on Den of Angels so apparently he's pretty popular. i like some narrow-eyed dolls, like Dreaming heads, but i'm not fond of the Tender heads for whatever reason.

aside from the tans being difficult to make, they may also turn green in direct sunlight. i'm just not sure i could deal with that.

XP Forgot to reply to this ages ago but your comment rocks. And is so true. lol And this is one of the more darker tanned dolls too. I've seen some "tanned" ones where I've been like "...I do not see any color difference in this one".

I've seen people do their own dying of resin mods to dolls and have actually made real tanned or black dolls. Even seen a bright red skinned one once.

Heh yeah, I know they creep a lot of people out. I'm bad though, I've been known to purposely open up their heads and take out their eyes just to creep people out with them before. XP As I have several guys I tend to room with at cons that are creeped out by them.

They don't do very many tanned dolls unfortunantly due to apparantly problems they have with making that resin from what I've heard. So thus why they only make them as limiteds. They did make some tanned dolls in the past if you haven't noticed yet in their old limited section but also apparantly said they weren't going to make anymore after that. So people were actually surprised they did this one.

I just want more fanged dolls personally. XP
