sword and wig

Ain't she a beaut? 5 different paint brushes were used in that and I'm only done with one side and I'm not even done with that (got to touch it up and add more paint to parts). Ara!

So I went ahead and sharpied Aki's wig...


Improvement? Yes/No? ^_^ I think so...though can you tell where I ran out of sharpie? LOL

Aki vest = Done! Though gaaaah I hate this material. It ripped a bit while working on it. >>; Goddamn sweater material!

Still left to do: gun holster, sheath, applique on sheath, buttons on vest, buttons on Schu jacket, finish eye patch, paint other side of sword, hook & eyes on doublet, hem thumb holes on gloves, and make Oni symbol if I have time. So not that much really. ...I hope. x_x;

progress progress xD right now Luke's coat is done. Just needs to be pinned together and lined, etc.

I think both the sword and Aki wig look great. Sharping it was definitely a good idea.

Yeah, I just bought more sharpies to finish it. Might sharpie it more at the con too after its been cut and styled a bit more.

The wig looks tons better! If you can finish up where you ran out, it'll be perfect. What color sharpie did you use to do that? It's really awesome. I didn't think you could make a wig that had blonde in it turn white-silver quite as well as you did.

Well it wasn't really blonde, just a blondish shade of white really. And well I wasn't sure how it'd turn out so I'm really glad as I have too many destroyed wigs hiding in my closet already, lol

I don't think you would know. The sword belongs to Asch from Tales of the Abyss and the wig is Akihiko from Persona 3
