I'm so sad its over. T_T Its been quite some time since I've seen a new anime this enjoyable. I wish it was longer though. Cut for spoilers, of course.

But wai I actually loved the ending. Well except for the fact that it could have been longer...really wish we could have been given an epilogue. I kinda wonder if there's any possibility of a movie or OVA but kinda doubt it since it seemed that was kinda the end of the Cybodies and all...but still feels like there could be a little more?

Anywho!

Wako's cybody = SAILOR MOON CYBODY!

It was cute. XD

And aghadighdpagpadipe Sugata. Peacock King. I'm still wtfing over that outfit. XD I'm torn between whether I think its completely hideous or completely fabulous. XDXD I guess somewhere in between. But I knew he'd have some sort of outfit by the end. Sad Wako didn't get anything though so she's just stuck with her school uniform and casual outfits for cosplayers.

As I said to girl_dissolving a few days ago...

Me: "Every male in this show is either a douche or a loser. Except Takuto. Think I'm going to just stick with him." (referring to the fact that I was originally waiting to decide who I wanted to cosplay in case there were any other guys with super awesome outfits later on...but no...lol)
Tans: "Yeeeeaah. But I like Sugata."
Me: "...yeeeeeaaaah. About that. >> (she's a bit behind so I had to be careful of spoilers) I did like him."
Tans: Oh FUCK everything. x_x

...lol And my main issue with Sugata was just that I didn't understand him. I felt he was missing depth that the others had. Like it was sorta there but then he just got weird at the end and I couldn't figure out what he was thinking/doing. And then the final episode was like "...JUST KIDDING." and I'm all "...oh. That's what he was doing. AHHHH I get it now!" XD

So I like him again in the end. lmao Which is good as it'd be a shame if he ruined the OT3 as I do like them. XD And note that I don't have many OT3s as usually there's one I feel is the 3rd wheel and most of my OT3s are yaoi and/or non-canon. But I really like this one! They're just so cute and I'm kinda glad Wako didn't make a choice at the end as I thought she would and I kinda didn't want her to chose between them. ^^;; I know Keiko could have been with Sugata if Wako chose Takuto but it wouldn't feel right...

But pffft...

Vice President = FUCKING GOD.

Or at least that's my theory. XD They totally threw a mini Rayearth on us there. Well I mean, he might not be quite THAT high up but definitely some guardian/power thing after that last scene of him and Sarina. But it made me happy because FUCK YEAH! RESPECT THE FOX!

Also I think the play episode was by far my favorite. Reminded me so much of the little symbolic play bit in Utena. Hell the whole anime reminded me of Utena.

Tokio = Akio
Vice President = Chu Chu
Takuto = Utena
Maidens = Rose Bride
Takashi = Miki
Kanako = A sorta mix of Nanami and Juri (odd mix but she just reminded me a little of both XD)
Sugata = Touga...sorta XD;
Benio's boys = Saionji lol
Etc~

But yeah they even pull swords out of themselves. XD And each episode had a duel with a song and transformation scene. So no wonder I love this show so much. XD

Not to say I think its a copycat of Utena. Oh no no no! Totally different and even those similarities I listed I still think are quite different. Just reminded me a lot of it. More so the feel to it than the actual plot/characters. But probably in part because one of the directors also worked on Utena some. XD

But yes, if you haven't seen on my FB album, I am so planning to cosplay Takuto's Ginga Bishonen outfit at some point...not sure when though as it's a bit of work. But I wanna do it. T_T I want to dazzle the stage with my radiance! And definitely making Vice President as my next big plushie project.

There were some missed opportunities to add more depth into characters other than Takuto. Like the last few episodes with Keito and Sugata. The flash back episode seemed rushed to me. Also Wako pissed me off in the last episode. Loving two men and wishing he never came. Nevermind Takuto totally saved everyone! /endrage

Yeah, I definitely agree on the lack of depth for some. But at the same time, I didn't really expect much of that from a series like this I guess? But yeah would have liked more on Sugata since he was such a major character.

Oh I'm the same. For what it was, the show was enjoyable. I really just wanted a fun anime to watch that was light hearted to balance out some of the other stuff I have been watching. I know some people were really disappointed because they were expecting it to be as great as Utena but with mechas. Oh well. I would have loved more Sugata. Takuto totally outshined him.

Lmao. I still like him but I also wish he had more depth. He ended up being a bigger damsel then all the maidens, jeez.
