So hey, I was thinking that it would be kinda cool to try to hit up a con I haven't been to before this year. Especially since I missed Ohayocon and Anime Mid-Atlantic moved to a not-so-great location. And I'd rather like to go to more than just the usual 4 I go to (Katsucon, AnimeNEXT, Otakon, AnimeUSA).
Soooo...suggest a con to me! As I would like to know who's going to which cons and all. I've already given consideration to Anime Boston (but no idea how the hell I'd get there unless someone in the DC area knows how to get there without it costing a fortune as I only know of routes to NYC) and AnimeCentral (which is at a better time but want to see who is going first and if I can afford it then). But yeah, as long as they're not too close to the other 4 I go to. I'd love a change of scenary and to see what some of the others are like.
And on that note...anyone going to A-Kon? Because omg its so tempting to try to save up for that one if I can find people to room with. Even though I doubt I'd be able to make a costume in time for it (unless I gain magical sewing abilities or drop some of the other projects).
Though really I may not be able to afford any other cons this year, it all depends on how poor I am after college. But if things go well I hope to have at least a decent temporary job by the end of the summer so if I can't go to one during the summer, maybe later in the year. It's nice to think that I can in fact try for cons now that I couldn't before due to college at least.
