Oct. 1st, 2011 11:25 pmSo AUSA is back on my schedule! My boss is amazing and decided to just go and give me those days off! I think I squee-ed rather loudly in the back room when I saw the "YES!" written over the "maybe" on my request off paper.
...YAY!
I seriously was beginning to think I wouldn't be getting the days off or maybe just one of the days and was already prepared to have to drop costumes and change plans. But don't have to do that now. XD
Though now this means I really gotta get my butt in gear and start on stuff 'cause I have a lot to do for it. Granted I don't have that many commissions right now (at least I don't think...this could change) so I should have enough time. Goal is to try to get some stuff early and kinda figure out how much time I have left and figure out if the rest is possible or not. Because I just refuse to over-exhaust myself the week before the con like I have been doing.
But yeah, things I gotta do...
- Add more feathers to Lucifer's wings - though not 100% sure if I'm bringing him or not, depends on if I can find someone to help with the make-up as I can't do it myself, sadly, and most of the people I usually have help me on that won't be at this con (or only attending part of it) - I'm currently working on this anywho - DONE XD
- Fix up Takuto's swords - I may redo the plastic on both entirely. Make them thinner and shorter so the lights don't end so abruptly like they do right now. And also so I can get more paint and try to repaint them so the blue is brighter.
- Make Vice President plushie - ...if I can figure out how XD Still not sure how to do him but I got some ideas.
- Ludwig from Ludwig Kakumei - I THINK I know what outfit I'm doing but I'm still not sure. Going to finish re-reading the manga first to see if any other outfits speak to me. But yeah, need to decide soon so I can start getting stuff for it.
- Maybe Synchroncity Len? - Need to figure out if we're doing this Vocaloid group or not
- Possibly a "secret" costume, if I have the time and money for it. XD
- Fix Adam's Squall pants
