Ok so about a week ago I did my first successful wig cutting. I was really nervous because I've been known to kill wigs in the past and just fail at the cutting part but I studied a lot of tutorials and youtube videos over the last few weeks and decided it was about time I tried to do it on my own as its hard to have someone do that for you at the con as they don't have that much time and I'd like to be able to try it myself.

It came out pretty good, I just cut bangs into the wig...

On the left is how the wig was before I cut it and the right is the end result. Pretty proud of myself. Not a huge thing but it took me like nearly 3 hours to do it. XD I just went really slow as I was terrified of screwing up this $50 wig and all.

But anywho, the next problem is trying to get this up in the right style. What I'm attempting is this: http://www.angelicvoice.fr/galleries/ludwig/Lui-15.jpg Its a messy up-do. And I can totally get it with this wig. I've pulled it up into the style and it looks great! I just...can't get it to stay there. x_x I've tried tons of clips and bobby pins but it just falls right out. I'm guessing my best bet is to sew it in place but I don't want to do anything permanent so I can still wear it down since he varies in his hairstyles. That and I'd have to redo the sewing every time I put it on 'cause I know it'll get messy once I take it off my head and I'd probably have to do it right before I put it on.

So suggestions? Or at least any ideas on how to sew it in place or other ideas 'cause I'm at a total loss here. lol It doesn't have to be neat but I also don't want to end up with the wig in a huge tangled mess.
