hair question!
Jan. 6th, 2004 05:29 pmI need advice from all you people who color your hair a lot and such.
I have like no experience with this and I'm very indecisive right now about what method I should take with making my hair red.
There's this nice little product but I heard its more of a gel and will probably give my hair that wet look and then there's the fear of getting it on stuff.
Or should I just go ahead and temporarily dye my hair? I'm a bit scared about this though as I've heard lots of horror stories about dying and I don't want to have red hair for more than a month, preferly less than that.
Thing is, my hair is exactly like Kaine and I'm afraid the gel will make it all wet-ish and thus I won't have my hair in its usual state that is like Kaine's. x_x And I was also thinking of the fact that if I have red hair, I could do another costume real quick in my spare time of a chracter I have all the clothes for and he also has red hair. But the gel stuff washes out and I'd have to wash it out before I change costumes at Katsu so not to get it on one of the other wigs.
So...help? ^^; I feel like the gel is the safer way to go but argh, I don't trust either of these methods really. My hair isn't very workable as well.
Edit: O_O On second thought...I think I'm just not going to worry about it too much and use this gel stuff instead because I'm too scared to go any other method. lol ^^; And this isn't a big thing and I dont' want to kill my hair over something I'm only going to do for a few hours. *hits head against wall* I'm really dumb for even pondering this.
