return from Otakon
Aug. 11th, 2008 08:22 pmSo yes its a day late but I'm back from Otakon. Got back really late due to a whole bunch of rather shitty things that happened but the con itself was great!
There was some accident on the Bay Bridge on Sunday so Greyhound had to delay all their buses and decided to not sell anymore tickets so Magenta had no way of getting home so luckily I wasn't gone yet and so she stayed here a night and I took her to the Chinatown bus this morning. Then Dar, Dani, Katie and crew had this insanely bad long wait for food at the Cheesecake Factory so we ended up leaving way later than planned.
But con itself was awesome. JAM Project was AMAZING! And I really like how my Asch costume came out though I think I made the sword a bit too big for me as it seemed a bit awkward in photos whenever I held it. I think I just need to practice more in front a mirror.
I'm still recovering though and it may be quite some time before I post my photos and con report. Probably more towards the end of this week.
