rose_of_painMy suitemates totally made my day. First Andrew gave me the set of little My Little Ponies with the insect antennae which I've wanted for quite a while but my parents forgot to get me. XP See, I was a huuuge fan of MLP as a kid and I still kinda collect them. I don't like the new ones quite as much but these little ones with antennae were way too cute to pass off. ;_;
Was feeling rather icky because that time-of-month just started and I've just been exhausted in general. But got the CD from Alyce for the anime she wants me to watch and her note made me all happy 'cause Alyce-notes are awesome-ness. ^^ Probably won't have time to watch it for a while but I do look forward to when I do.
Then Gabi and Andrew went out to get shrimp apparantly for dinner for me. o_o Though do kinda hope they get back soon so there's enough time for them to cook before I go to work. ^^;; 'Cause that could suck. Only have an hour right now too.
And then I get an e-mail saying there's a perishable package for me at Res Life. And I'm just like "eh? why wasn't it given to campus center?" and just guessed it must be a cake from the parents. No. It was a GIGANTIC thing of roses in a glass vase. I haven't been able to figure out exactly how many are in there but there's gotta be around 20, I want to say 21 since that would make sense but its been hard to count. ^^; But oh my god. O_O It's huge and I felt kinda embarrased yet really loved at the same time. Had to call Tom to bring his car so I could get them back to the suite. ^^;
So now we have a very large centerpiece for the table. ^^;;
And a huge thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today. It helped cheer me up a lot.
