Tsubasa 167 = love! ^^

Tsubasa 167 is out! And its so much squee and love! Much more on the happy side compared to the previous chapters. Though also looks like something big is about to happen, dun dun dun.

They're in Nihon!!!!! I knew it! I was soooo hoping it'd be Nihon next. ^_^ And Tomoyo is so much love. ;_; So turns out that she told Kurogane during the previous chapter that to save Fai, he could cut his arm off because of the magic Fai had put on it (that spell so that Kurogane could pull Souhi out of his arm) made it a "scapegoat" (thats what the chapter translation uses). So that's why the exchange worked!

Wai! The dialogue between Kurogane and Tomoyo. ;_; And I'm sorry Kuro/Tomoyo fans but the conversation just further pushed in the more KuroFai direction. ^^;; Since they're talking about Kurogane's desire to save Fai and how Kurogane has finally learned the meaning of "true strength" and oh it was so sweet. Kurogane is so amazing. He has no regrets and he's just so cool!

Then Fai comes in....in a kimono, looking oh so nice. ^_^ And punches Kurogane upside the head. XPXPXP And Kurogane is all "O_O" and just kinda stunned. Priceless!

And Fai smiles! HE FUCKING SMILES! Not one of his fake smiles but a real smile! And says "Payback...Kuro-sama." XPXPXP Hahaha! So much love! And he's using nicknames again! Yay! So I think everyone is pretty much agreeing by that panel, the relationship between those two has finally been repaired. They're rather even now. And Fai hitting Kurogane as payback for when Kurogane hit Fai for being stupid was great. XP They really do need to stop sacrificing for each other. ^^;;

But anyways, looks like now the plot moves to R!Syaoran and Watanuki now! Oooh! Though was hoping C!Syaoran would show up soon. Wonder what he's up to. O_o; But hm, I have a feeling Tsubasa might be on another break soon or something since xxxHolic is apparantly not having its next chapter til October 12 or something like that. So not sure if they'll go right into the Watanuki stuff yet or wait til then. Hmmm. Though maybe they'll FINALLY tell us what is up with Watanuki and who is he really? (And if he does end up being some incarnation of Clow Reed, I'm going to smack CLAMP XP Though I so see it coming anyways.)

But yes, I am a happy fan. ^_^ That made up for quite a bit of the angst lately. But I'm sure we're going to go right back to it...

Especially since we all know there's going to be the talk with Kurogane soon we're everyone's going to be all "Kurogane, you're finally home, that's your wish, you don't have to continue, 'cause if you leave, you might not get to go back...*angst*" etc. And I think we all know Kurogane is going to still go with them. XP Unless the only world after this one is the dream world and really I think that's only going to involve Syaoran and Sakura. And well, can't help but agree with the gazillion other KuroFai fans out there that I'm kinda hoping Fai would stay with Kurogane in Nihon. Don't think it'll happen though but it would be nice (I mean in the end and all, if neither of them is dead. x_x;) Oh....and hm, Fai really should be given blood soon, shouldn't he? O_o;;

And where the hell is Seishiro already? XP

Whoo! Just read it, and LOL at Fai punching Kurogane in the face. XDDD I lol'd. I haven't found the translation yet, but I could see that Fai's gone back to calling Kurogane by nicknames (yay! I missed that so much), and of course it seems they have repaired their relationship. :3 And to my relief, it looks like Fai's had the chance to kind of let everything soak in, and had time to clear his head a little, so I don't think he's quite borderline insane anymore. XD Whew!

I was also hoping we'd be getting into Clone!Syaoran next, because we haven't seen a sign of him since he ate Fai's eye. @.@ (Man that seems long ago!)

But man, what a douche...Kurogane cuts off his arm for the sake of saving Fai's life, and all Fai does is punch him in the face! XDDD

Wah~ I hope CLAMP doesn't go on yet another break soon. That two weeks was hard! XD Though at least it's no so climactic at the end of this chapter anyways. (But still!)

Except...well, there still was that coughing up blood thingy and the whole "seems the more I use my magic, the less life I have" thing that still worries me. >>;; And still being a vampy too...but at least he's not super angsty? ^^;;;

And I missed the spoilers that were posted (obviously), but according to what I saw in his/her comments (ashura_sama's), people were freaking out because of the confusion of "to live with" and "to go with"? XD I think he/she said it was all in hiragana so no kanji was there to specify the meaning, but then it turns out it was the kanji for "go" instead of "live" on page 10? So that at first it looked like it could've meant "If you wanted to live with him" instead of "if you wanted to go with him"? Was that what everyone exploded over? LOL (My friend freaked the hell out when she read the spoilers, so up until this I was wondering what the hell had happened to make the kurofai comm explode XD)

Ah yeah, Fai coughing up blood. @.@ I'm really hoping that doesn't mean anything. ;.; I'm hoping that the whole arrival in Nihon-koku and starting with Kurogane waking up meant that everyone else had recovered a little a.k.a. wasn't on the verge of death anymore.

Sorry to randomly post here *won't look at the Tsubasa spoilers!!*
But I'm a little confused. I thought we were going to AnimeUSA together or like-- Ling told me that your hotel room was full. Was I not invited to stay in your hotel room or is it someone else's hotel you're staying in, like Darlene's or whatever? Either way,I'm a bit confused you didn't talk to me about the hotel situation, knowing I was going to go to AnimeUSA o_O

We haven't talked about AUSA at all in quite a while and things have changed since that, really. I had the impression that it was still up in the air whether you were going or not and had no idea if you even wanted to stay with me anymore. I'm in Alyce's room so one would have to ask her about it. And I don't know if you know, but Nami and Tara aren't going and Alyssa, Marissa, etc. are most likely canceling now. So I think the only people you know going now are me, Ling, Ken, Darlene, Dani, and the rest of that crew.

Since I'm still under the impression that I shouldn't call you, I had talked to Ling on the phone instead to ask if she knew what your situation was and to tell you that I dont' know if I can help you this time and hoped maybe she would have room space.

First of all, I want to say this right now, whatever happens between us, stays between us. I don't need you going through Ling to tell me things. There's an lj we can communicate through, as well as email. I'm not a horrible bitch, as I would cut you off completely. I'm really pissed off though that you spoke to Ling before you came to me. I don't even care about the hotel thing, but now I do have to figure out what I want to do about my hotel situation for AnimeUSA. Despite all that's happened, I figured since we're still doing the con thing, we'd still the hotel thing too, I don't appreciate you assuming I wouldn't need a hotel room. I'll figure this out on my own X__x;;

I talked to Ling because we were trying to figure out if you were going to the con or not since she needed to know because of the panels. I had called her to ask about the panels since I'm invovled in that too. And the discussion of hotel came up. It was not me going to Ling to tell you things.

I don't know why you just assumed I was responsible for getting you hotel space when I didn't even know if you were still going. I never "assumed you didn't need a hotel room" because I didn't know you were going or not! And you haven't exactly asked me if you could or could not room with me, just assumed it. I'm not the only con friend you have after all.
