Well this makes it officially the end of DDR for me.

My parents just got "DDR Hottest Party 2" for the Wii. -_-; It makes me weep a bit. I haven't played DDR in over 2 years for a reason. Its just not the same anymore. lol And this new version is so stupid. XP I tried playing it and was like "...what is this?"

And seeing my parents try to figure out how to play is sad. ^^;; Oh boy. (Really I'm just annoyed I can't play ToS2 'cause they're on it right now.)

I'm like so sick of DDR like you wouldn't believe. It was fun for a little while, but I always just "...." ed at my friends for being so into it back in high school. And those fucking losers at the arcades who would spend like $10+ just playing to show off.

I was really into it when it first came out for a while even though I sucked compared to my friends. Then got out of it but Gabi revived it for me in college as she taught me a good system to play better and we used it for exercise. But now its like nothing but popular hits. I want my DDR with my Euro and Japanese music damnit. ;_;

And I always hated the arcade players. I refused to play it there because the hard pads confused me and the one time I was thrown on there (literally) by a friend, the arcade jerks made fun of me and I ran out of the arcade in humiliation. So not a fond memory there.

Yeah, the hard pads are like really not fun to dance on. I like playing in socks, so I can feel which panels I am standing on, but of course they wouldn't let you do that in a public arcade @_@;;

I never got into the tornaments either, like LOL. I don't mind watching good people, but it's like "You do realize this is just a little...pathetic." I would only drag about videogame stuff to videogame friends though, and I just don't do public arcading unless the arcade is super empty. (Well, that and I do kick ass in Soul Calibur. )

yeah, I was into it. but i wasnt big into it. i played para para paradise in the arcade *-* yeah, its like ddr, but with your hands/arms.
