So fess up. Who was playing with the Quake Materia?

We had a motherfucking earthquake here at uhhh about like somewhere around 5am or something? I was half asleep so it was kinda surreal.

Yeah, not fun to be woken up to VERY loud rumbling and the house shaking. And since I was still partially asleep my mind starting thinking funky things. I can't explain it as it was too odd but I know in my sleep induced mind earthquake was not what I was thinking. Instead I was thinking things like "...is it 2012 already? Huh." and "Alien Attack!" ...yeah. XD;

Eventually I woke up enough to realize what it actually was and just kinda was like O_o for a long time. There was a rumble, that I guess was the aftershock but I was like "oh god its starting up again" luckily it didn't.

No damage despite how freaking loud it was but may have also been in part the fact that our house shakes kinda easily as it is. So really surprised nothing got knocked over except a few figurines on my shelf (and I was kinda laughing at which ones fell as the ones that normally fall were totally fine but one Cloud and the Clone keychains KOed XD;).

But yeah...wtf!

I think you were too far away. It was more on the DC side of Maryland and not sure if those in DC could even hear it either. I think it was more so the Montgomery County area.

Kinda like a REALLY low flying plane. Or extremely loud thunder that goes on for a looong time. It was kinda surreal.

Well at least there I would actually be expecting it. Not here in freaking Maryland! lol I mean how often do you hear of earthquakes here of all places?

I wasn't woken up by the quake, but I was dreaming a very vivid dream about fighting demons in a wine cellar when suddenly everything started shaking, wine bottles fell off of shelves, and the demons ran for cover. Then I woke up to my radio saying, "Huh, how 'bout that earthquake?"

...It was a really bizarre experience.

Oh wow, yeah, lol. My experience was similar except that I was at least partially awake. XD; Still crazy though! I've had dreams like that where something going on in real life entered my dream (like I once got eaten alive by mosquitoes at my relatives' and I must have been scratching the bites in my sleep because in my dream I was on a pirate ship but then I stopped whatever I was doing and was rolling around the deck, scratching myself being all "it won't stop~ T_T;" lol).
