1. Did you used to have a hobby that you've stopped for whatever reason? Do you miss it?
- I used to actually write and sing a lot and I don't really do either anymore. Both because I stopped feeling confident with them. Do miss them but every time I try to get back into it, it kinda just flops. Especially with the writing one. I actually did write a fanfic a few months ago but it was on an anonymous fic community and I don't think I'll ever let any of you guys see it. XD; I may fix it up a bit and put it up on a fic site but going to use a name no one would connect with me if I did, probably. I get too nervous about putting my writing out there in front of people I know. But writing used to be a huge passion for me. :/
2. What's your favorite candy bar?
- Three Musketeers ^.^ Haven't had one in a long time though T_T
3. Do you think you'll stay in your state? Is there anywhere you'd want to move?
- I actually have no idea. I kinda figure I'll go wherever there's work. But I don't really have an actual ideal state I want to go to. I have some I don't want to live in though. XD; But I wouldn't mind staying in MD. Its not a bad state.
4. Do you have any actress crushes?
- Ya know, I don't really know actors/actresses very well. And the ones I do know by name don't normally do anything for me. Hmm. I could probably be like "the girl that plays that character!" though. *thinkthink* Well I do think Keira Knightly is really cute. I'm not sure if I actually have a "crush" on any though. I just don't pay enough attention to them to really say I do. XD; I'm sure later I'll think of some though and be all "oh yeah her!" ^^;
5. What does your ideal home look like?
- More of a studio than an actual home. Well inside I mean. I don't care so much about outside as I'm pretty sure I'll never live in anything big. But I'd love to have a place where I have my own good personal space to work in. No matter how small it may be. Though of course if I did magically end up with a lot of money I'd ideally love to live in a Victorian style mansion. XDXD ...complete with basement full of poisons of course.

Reply with "DUDE" (decided to change the word, lol) and I'll give you four fandoms. You then have to make an entry writing about your favorite character from each fandom, and why.

Pandora Hearts: Gilbert Nightray
- Its a close call between Gil and Glen these days but I think Gil still wins mostly just because we know more about him than we do Glen at the moment. ^^; Gil called out to me at first mostly due to his design and of course he looks like he's going to be a badass...but is actually pretty fail. And I dunno, I kinda loved him for it. Because he's kinda like me. Wants to be cool and dark and awesome but isn't very good at it and a bit more on the clumsy side. Also I don't have to do much to be in character when I cosplay him. ^^; And yet there is a pretty dark and deep past to him. I mean we still don't even know exactly what's going on with him but I love all the back history with him and Vincent and Jack and all. There's so many dimensions to him. He's really complex and I love it.
Persona 4: Yosuke Hanamura
- lol ...see above description? XD Another "fail" character that I love and kinda can relate to. A little more with Yosuke than Gil though. 'Cause I totally understand Yosuke's way of thinking and such. And he's adorable! I loved him from the moment he came into the game. He's so awkward and insecure and so REAL. Like I mean he really does act like a teenager at his age should. And once again I find it very easy to cosplay him as I don't really have to do more than act how I normally do. XD;;
Code Geass: Suzaku Kururugi
- I went into Code Geass not knowing much about it other than the fact that a lot of my friends really seemed to dislike Suzaku. XD But I instantly loved him. I was like "omg he's so adorable!". And I loved his way of thinking. He was the character I sympathized the most with. He just went through so much shit and all he was ever trying to do was the right thing. And then R2 happened...and I had a very hard time dealing with his change in personality. I understood why it happened but I really didn't like it. It got so bad that I was having a hard time calling him my favorite character for a bit. But then in the end I feel like he kinda turned back and he redeemed himself to me at least. Though I think he's pretty fucked up in the head by the end of the series...but we all know I love fucked up characters. ^^;;
Final Fantasy VII: Cloud Strife
- Speaking of fucked up characters...oh god I'm afraid to get into this one as you all know I could write a pretty long essay on him but I'll try to keep this short. Cloud is someone that I know not many of my friends like. In fact I have VERY few friends who like Cloud. Most people I know downright even hate him. And I can totally deal with that. I can even understand most of the points they make. But I have always loved Cloud. He's one of my favorite fictional characters ever (him and Cain are rivals for first place in my heart, its a really tough call between them but Cloud might win just in the sense I've loved him longer). FFVII was the first game I ever finished and the first RPG style game I ever played and really the first game I ever got REALLY into and so part of it is just the fact that I love Cloud for being the hero of that game. But there's a lot more to it. I love the depth there is to his character. I love all the psychological issues related to him. I love how he's insecure and not really wanting to be a hero. He was just a kid who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and as result ended up being the only one who could take on the job that needed to be done. But it's pretty clear he never wanted to. Hell he doesn't even know who he is for a good chunk of the game. I know a lot of people don't like him because of that. Because they liked him when he was basically thinking he was Zack (and I'd like to note however that he doesn't really ACT like Zack as Zack was never that aloof like Cloud is when he thinks he's a First Class and all, its more like he thinks he has Zack's position but its more like Cloud's own interpretation of what a First Class should be and perhaps even a little mix of his old ideal image of who Sephiroth was but anyways...this is really turning into an essay I'm sorry!) and when they realized that wasn't really him, they didn't like him as much. But I actually loved him MORE when I found out how insecure and shy he really was. And the fact that despite this all, despite how SMALL he is, he still manages to go and save the day in the end. And does it again and again. Even when he's falling apart at the seams. I just love anything to do with him. Seriously do. And going to end there but I could say so much more. XDXD;

Date: 2010-09-12 09:54 am (UTC)1) My absolute favorite breed of dog, if I had to choose a pure bred, would be a Collie. A rough Collie. I adore them to bits, and I blame both old Dante (an old collie who would come in for boarding and daycare sometimes) and Albert Payson Terhune books.
2) Fionnphort, Scotland, and Hofn in Iceland. Hell, most of Iceland. But Fionnphort was a tiny little quiet town on the tip of a tiny little island called Mull, and it was quiet and peaceful and no one locked their doors. We watched fishermen play darts in the pub, and listened to the waves crash against the rocks through our windows.
Hofn... Hofn had amazing food. And Myvatin- oh man, the food there. That gives it a very special place in my heart, oh man. But Iceland in general...
3) The most recent book that I have finished was "The Lonestar Ranger" by Zane Grey. Found it at my Grandma's old house, it was written in something like 1913, or so, and is an ancient western. And well written! The poor main character, Duane, is banished to be an outlaw after he kills a man (who was gunning to kill him) and it is pretty much about his life on the dodge. But he is a good guy, deep down, even though he is now an outlaw, and he tries his hardest to save things, people, and himself. I enjoyed it very, very much. (The Texas Rangers get in touch with him, and he starts to work with them behind the scenes, hence the title~)
4) I would most likely be some light shade of blue ^^
5) Oh man, all sorts. Right now I have been listening to X/Japan on repeat (because omg they are coming to Seattle and I get to see them for my 25 birthday *____*), but I really listen to all sorts. Canadian folk music, JRock, JPop, American pop, oldies, International... all sorts. XD;

Date: 2010-09-11 06:57 pm (UTC). . . . . . and after reading your explanation of Cloud, I absolutely love you. I've never been fond of him because everyone I knew who liked him always had reasons like "he's so pretty/strong/cool/awesome" or "He's my boyfriend because I'm actually the reincarnation of *character name here* and he's trying to find a way for me to come home so we can be together and have 6.5 kids!", but you've managed to make me genuinely curious now since my mind is going "o_o Holy shit! Someone put THOUGHT into their reasoning and is basing it off of his flaws and liking the character beyond the OMGHESOPRETTEH!"

3) Do you have a dream costume? If so, what is it?
4) What's your favorite fanfic (if you have one)?
5) If you could live in any fictional universe, which one would you chose?
1) FullMetal Alchemist
2) Bleach
3) Weiss Kreuz
4) Yu-Gi-Oh
Pfft. I don't even really like the blond/blue-eye combo so I can def tell you that all chars I like that fall into that category are most definitely for their looks. >>; lol And yeah I probably should do a full essay like entry on all my thoughts on him some day though I'm not sure if I could say it as well as I've seen other fans say their own feelings. I've read a lot of really good ones.
