Hey guys, I've been debating between two fabrics to use for a commission and would greatly appreciate any opinions/advice if you're familiar with either.

Its for Adam's FFVIII Squall cosplay (the original outfit) and he's a whimp and wants it to be thin-ish so he doesn't die. Pfft. XD But yeah, the nice pleather just doesn't exist at the stores here. Granted I haven't checked G-Street yet but chances are anything there will be way out of the price range we want. That and to get to G-Street, you have to go through a part of Rockville I consider to be equal to a layer of Hell.

So here are the two that people have recommended to me:

http://www.syfabrics.com/View.aspx/Clothing-PVC/Black-PVC/863/224 - Doesn't stretch really but I know quite a number of people that have used it and I know it looks pretty good.

Or

http://www.spandexhouse.com/products.asp?id=47&pname=Pleather - Does stretch, have been told it's pretty thin. But is a tiny bit more expensive.

I'd be using the stuff to make the pants, the jacket, and probably some of the belts. So its gotta be sturdy enough for all of that. So if anyone has worked with either or both, let me know what you think of them and which you think would be better. Thanks a lot in advance~

And yes, a part of me will die making this. ...lol j/k It'll be worth it just so I can kick his ass at con. XD
