Silver Hair

Was looking in the mirror tonight and did a double take and was all "...is the light playing tricks on me or is that silver there amongst my gold?" (Call me silly but 'cause of the way my hair literally shines in some lights, I keep claiming its "brown with a tint of gold" XD). And then was like "Nah, it's probably just some thread...*tug*...Ow...Ok, no, that's definitely a white strand of hair."

And then I was torn between feeling a bit depressed at this or whether to actually feel kinda excited. XD And yes, I didn't think "gray" I immediately thought in terms of silver or white. Though truthfully its definitely white-white. But I'm going to still say silver. XD

Because I'm no getting old! I'm just finally becoming a mage. About time too! (Bonus points if you actually get the reference there.)

But yeah, not surprised. Early white hairs runs in the family. My brothers all started getting them around this age too. One of them even has what we like to jokingly refer to as "skunk hair" as he has this white streak down the center.

That and I've always had a thing for silver/white haired characters. lol Not like I expect my hair to suddenly turn white after this. XD I'm sure I'll keep my "brown with a tint of gold" for quite some time still. Just might mean there will be a little more silver in that mix gradually from here on out.

Either that or its a result of all this costume stress. Pffft.

Well in my family history, there's been a lot of members who had full heads of white by age 30-40 and my brother's "skunk" bit is very stark white, not gray at all. But he's had that since like age 28 or so.

My mother has basically silver hair so I am hoping I go that route when I grey. I think it would be awesome.

White/silver-haired characters were a major thing for me, too. xD As groovy as that is, hope stress isn't doing wonky things to you!
