rose_of_painOk, I guess I do have stuff to talk about on here after all.
On Friday night, Meredith and her family invited me to a dinner theater performance over at MC. We thought it'd be a good chance to get to know each other better in person (as we've already talked a lot online) before we officially become roomates in a few months.
It was a lot of fun. We bonded over Yatta!, Rocky Horror, and Bohemian Rhapsody. We sang Yatta! during dinner and then on the ride back we sang along to her CD that had Sweet Transvestitte and Bohemian on it.
Meredith: "Ok, the ultimate test of true geek-dom is when you can sing the entire Bohemian Rhapsody by heart."
Me: *sings the whole song with her*
Meredith: "Extra points if you know the guitar solo."
Both: *make guitar imitating sounds, matching the guitar perfectly*
Meredith's parents: o_o; *break out laughing*
I think we get along just dandy. ^^ And yes, she is an anime fan. Bwahahaha.

you know next year I'm living in virginia over the summer so I can have residency and not have to pay $7,000 more for tuition . . but nyaa. I will have no friends . . and no way to make them, because school is how I would normally meet friends. it is a predicament.
I might have to go to *gasp* another convention. how's all that going by the way? I haven't heard much of it and I'm starting to get scared that you've gone into total shock and are like, "cosplay? I started that. What cosplay? Heh yeah it's like finished already. Just a teensy bit more to do, la dee da" ... "I'm gunna die before the end of July -_-;;;;" moo. how in particular is shai doing? O_o are we still doing shai? I don't know -_- I've become out of the lyn loop and it makes me sad because I'm uncoordinated and I can't get back into the lyn loop because it keeps spinning and it's like the evil hulahoop that haunts my dreams . .
I ramble.
Well tomorrow I go to see my mom. I don't especially want to see what she looks like. At all. But I'm thinking I have to go. I talked to her and she sounds like she's a zombie they have her on so much morphine. *sigh* I really don't want to see her. But I miss her.

Date: 2004-07-04 12:54 pm (UTC)Yeah...cosplay...this would be why my current nick on MSN (you can change it as much as you want) is "panicpanicpanicpanic!". Rosiel's outfit is actually done. I just have to do the wings, which counts for like half the outfit. And haven't even started on Shaisuke yet.
Yeah...I'm in a really bad state of panic. Worst one yet in all my experience of cosplay actually. ^^; And it keeps getting worse every day that goes by that Ling and Mimi aren't on because I'm trying to figure out when I'm going to meet with them. *whimper*
