more AC info

Welp, I actually forgot to check adventchildren.net in the last few days. I usually check it daily. lol So finally got updated and read the article on the info that Square has released on the characters in the game and couldn't help but put my own commentary in.

Cloud: After the battle, he hid in secret and lived a quiet life alone.

SCORE!! I am happy! I was so afraid they would destroy all my mental theories about what happens to Cloud after the game. But allelujah! He goes into hiding like in many of my favorite fanfics, lol. I've always thought that was the most Cloud-like thing for him to do and I'm glad Square hasn't disapointed me. ^_^ Fwee!

However, he is attacked by the 3 mysterious men who suddenly appear, and decides to once again return to the battle ground. Not even knowing what they want, he is forced to draw his sword.

Ain't that how it always goes, man? You try to live life peacefully for once and some weirdass clones suddenly jump you and it all goes to hell and you have to save the planet.......again.


Aerith: A woman who fell to Sephiroth's sword during the battle two years ago. A young woman resembling her appears before Cloud. Are these dreams Cloud is having....? Or are they...!? Is there a chance she will be revived!?

NOOOOO!!! NONONONONONONNONONONONONONONO! She's DEAD. She's supposed to remain dead. Yes, I love Aerith too but she died! Reviving her like totally ruins the whole point of the death scene in the first place. Pleeaaaaase, Square, don't bring her back. ^^; But from the footage I've seen, it definently just looks like dream sequences. And in that case, thats really cool. I think its a good way of having Aerith in the movie and still have her being dead. Maybe she'll guide Cloud along or something spiffy like that.


Tifa: She returned to Seventh Heaven in Midgar after the fighting, and manages it alone. As before, she takes good care of Marlene, Barret's daughter.

Ah...k. That was short. (And then I realized that there was another paragraph on her. *blink* I have no idea why they broke up her description into 2 paragraphs.)


Tifa supported Cloud from the shadows. But it doesn't seem that they got together after the fighting. They are living apart, and Cloud doesn't communicate with her much. Aerith is still in Cloud's heart, and Tifa understands that.... It looks like that sort of relationship.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sucks for her. Eh, sorry to any Tifa fans but I just really dislike the Cloud/Tifa pairing. ^^;; Once again, it goes great with all the fanfics I've read and theories I agree on, the whole Cloud not talking to Tifa much. Booya!


Denzel: An orphan Tifa takes care of, his identity is currently unknown. Infected with GeoStigma, he has a lifeless, vacant look.... It seems he gets along well with Marlene, who is close to his age, and she is also worried about him.

So, now we got a sick kid. K. The GeoStigma thing sounds kinda creepy and I must admit, I find it a bit weird. I mean, we already had the mako poisoning thing, why do we need some other freaky illness?


There is a high possiblity [it seems they say that about everything, though] of a revival of Cosmo Canyon, and Cid is probably still working, aiming for distant skies.

Well....uh, that was a dumb statement. lol Considering we already saw screenshots of Red XIII and Cid so we know for a fact they're in the movie.


So far, Yuffie and Cait Sith haven't been seen. Will they be appearing in AC after all?

As Legendary Frog's flash movie once said...."Just kidding guys. No one likes you." XP Though in all honesty, I would kinda like to see even them (or at least Reeve if not Cait) in the movie at least a little because they ARE part of the cast after all.

Nnnh, well, my cosplay progress was going pretty well until today since I spent a lot of time on Shaisuke but didn't get as much done as I had planned. I was hoping to be done with the boot covers by tonight but alas...they're only half-done and I need to go out and get some material for the bottom of them.

damnit suddenly they reveal the plot of ac and it's like rip off of our FF7 rp! well except the whole psycho Aeris clone and Rufus still being alive and the whole new rebel faction.. o_o Oh well I definitely like how they dealt with the aftermath of Cloud and Tifa. That's how it ought to be.. as for Aeris.. if there is a really good reason for her to come back I think it'd be okay.. afterall then end of ff7 is "lets go find her" Cloud seems wholy convinced she's still around.. Course we alll know he's a space cadet.

Yeah, but I still think I'd prefer if she remained dead. ^^; Cloud's never been very sane. lol And of course, there are still quite a number of lines in that game that are kinda like "Eh? ...what? O_o;" but that might just be do to the crappy translation job done in some parts where lines really don't make sense. ^^;

Heh, no clue. Originally they said it would be released summer 2004 in Japan but now they're just saying 2004. x_x;; The movie itself isn't done yet as far as I know. And no clue how long it will take to be released outside of Japan. Though I'm going to get myself either am import version or a fansub version first while I wait for the official one to come here.

All I know is that its some disease that is infecting a lot of people and junk. I think its a pretty important part of the storyline. I think. ^^;
