Saw your entry there. Though I have no idea what that hat even is, lol. But I can relate as I'm trying to get myself a good top hat and I'm being way too picky and thus taking forever to get one. As I want a certain height and Victorian style and I was trying to get a vintage one but I keep being outbid at the last second x_x; So I may cave and get a reproduction one but blaaah.
So yeah I feel your hat pain! And dude we should both stop being hermits and like...hang...or something.
Where are you looking? O_o Most the ones on ebay have been at a pretty good price range, its just me trying to get it as low as I can and being outbidded. XP But there are also "but it now" options on newer ones so I may just do that in the end after I try after a few more vintage auctions.
