Cosplay 30 Days: Day 11

rose_of_pain11. Something cosplay-related that you will never do (eg. crossplay, cosplay from a certain series)
Welp I'll never do a cosplay that involves wearing a dress or skirt. Pretty simple but that's pretty much it. lol And its not me trying to make a statement or anything. I just don't find them comfortable and its just not me. And this goes for characters of both genders so you'll never see me do a crossdressing boy no matter how much I love the character. So yes, that means I'm never doing Cloud in the infamous dress. That's the one outfit of his I won't do.
I guess another big thing I'll never do is cosplay something I don't like. And I always make sure I know the source I'm cosplaying from. If a friend asks me to do a cosplay with them, I make sure to read/watch/play the source fully (or at least as much as I can) first before I even consider starting it. Because I have to have some type of attachment to it and an understanding of the character to be them. The only character I've done that I didn't necessarily like is Keisuke from Togainu no Chi. My favorite character is by far Shiki but every time I get asked to join in on Togainu, there already is at least one other Shiki and I was asked to do Keisuke. I only said I'd do it if I'd do Kurosuke, which is basically Keisuke on drugs and gone pyscho. 'Cause I don't like Keisuke. But Kurosuke is interesting and I thought that would be fun. So yeah this is why I try to make a point that I'm doing "Kurosuke", not really Keisuke. XD But that's about the closest I've ever come to being a character I didn't like.
