I love my armbands I made yesterday. They're spiffy. Simple and yet of all the things I've made, some how I get the most amusement out of them even though they were like the easiest thing I've ever done. They make me feel all ninja-ish, which is rather funny considering they're for my Rosiel cosplay. ^^;

Me: "But what I'm amazed at is that you managed to get all of Battle Royale 2 onto one CD! All the files I find of it are too big for my CDs."
Geoff: "Yeah...well, this one was lucky."
Me: "...was it super lucky?"

Me: *watching Naruto*
Dad: *walks in, does stuff behind me, gets curious, stops, and starts watching it*
Me: ...
Dad: ...
*several episodes later*
Dad: ...
Me: ...
Dad: "Ya know, this is rather addicting. o_o"
Me: "Tell me about it."

*sigh* I'm being all cheerful as of late and feeling rather guilty for it because every time I look at my friends' list, its like each day another one of my friends is having a major crisis or is extremly depressed. And what do I do? Nothing. I stare at the entry, even go to comment, but can't write a thing. I never know what to say to people in these situations.

But I want all of you to know that I DO CARE! I'm just really bad at expressing that in a way that doesn't seem corny or sounds just like the obligatory "I'm here for you" that everyone says. I wish there was a way to transmit feelings instead of just words. It would help so much.

Argh, Kyo-comp is making that annoying noise again. *glares at it* Ah well. Mmm. Suishi. Suishi makes everything better. *goes back to my non-stop Naruto marathon*

Ok, I guess I do have stuff to talk about on here after all.

On Friday night, Meredith and her family invited me to a dinner theater performance over at MC. We thought it'd be a good chance to get to know each other better in person (as we've already talked a lot online) before we officially become roomates in a few months.

It was a lot of fun. We bonded over Yatta!, Rocky Horror, and Bohemian Rhapsody. We sang Yatta! during dinner and then on the ride back we sang along to her CD that had Sweet Transvestitte and Bohemian on it.

Meredith: "Ok, the ultimate test of true geek-dom is when you can sing the entire Bohemian Rhapsody by heart."
Me: *sings the whole song with her*
Meredith: "Extra points if you know the guitar solo."
Both: *make guitar imitating sounds, matching the guitar perfectly*
Meredith's parents: o_o; *break out laughing*

I think we get along just dandy. ^^ And yes, she is an anime fan. Bwahahaha.
